It is with great pleasure that I introduce Dr. Yaqi Lan into the world! After 4 hard years, she has earned her Ph.D. Dr. Lan is also my first PhD. graduate. May today be only the start of your life long quest for knowledge.

Dr. Rogers is proud to announce that he is rejoining his old alma matter and has accepted an Associate Professor Position in the Department of Food Science at the University of Guelph. He will make the move Jan1, 2015.

Songwei Wu was a member of the first place team for the annual Developing Solutions for Developing Countries Competition. This years' theme was the development of new products and processes that are targeted at improving the quality of life for people in developing countries. The theme this year to to develop food products to be given as supplements to address malnourishment at HIV relief clinics across developing nations.
